James Angelo Simons was a son of Koppel and Emily Della Torre Simons.
James was born on February 3, 1847, at Salford (near Manchester) England.
He came to America in 1873, and settled in Trevorton, Pa. where he met and married Agnes Tomlinson.
The Simons moved to Centralia, PA in 1885. James and Agnes Simons had four children before Agnes died on August 17, 1895. James' second wife was Philadelphia ("Delphi") Tomlinson, his first wife's sister. James and Delphi had no children.
James A. Simons died on August 15, 1922 at Centralia, PA. James, both of his wives and his son John, are buried in the Irish Valley Methodist Church Cemetary near Trevorton, Pa.

Philadelphia Rebecca Simons - - - - - - - - 9/1/1880 - 12/29/1954
(married Edward Klinger, they had no issue, lived in Shamokin, Pa.,
and are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetary, Shamokin, Pa.)

William Charles Simons was born on June 6, 1874, at Trevorton, PA. He was the oldest son of James A. Simons and Agnes Tomlinson Simons. The Simons family moved to Centralia, PA in 1885 where William met and married Maria Dyke Johnston. Maria died on April 29, 1942. William died on December 23, 1943.
They are both buried in the Centralia, Pa. cemetary.
